Die-cutting is a process to make a uniquely shaped printed products (or to create patterns/windows inside them), using a cutting die of a specific shape. Cutting is done using product-shaped steel dies.
Dies can be both regular, i.e. to make some routine products like folders, and be customized for a specific order. Die-cutting is often used to produce postcards, invitations, pocket calendars, packaging, folders, hangers, etc.
During the 15 years of our work we’ve accumulated not only deep experience, but a large collection of dies. At Ulmapress, apart from regular dies, you can order die-cutting of any shapes.
